In an Australian first, Hoyts and Heritage HM are partnering to introduce the Faith on Film festival.
Screening at The Entertainment Quarter in Sydney from July 12 to July 27, the festival will feature a total of nine films with six Australian features, representing the latest faith-based films from around the globe.
In addition to the screenings in Sydney, the Faith on Film festival will be run at selected cinemas across Australia from July 24 – July 27, at some of Hoyts most popular sites.
We’ve selected a range of high quality films providing something for everyone including an award winning South African drama, a ‘travel the world’ surfing documentary, children’s feature The Ten Commandments and the Australian premier of Roland Emmerich’s hard-hitting drama on human trafficking, Trade. Each of the films we’ve selected is powerful and will inspire audiences to go and change their world.
The Faith on Film festival introduces two Australian premiers: Hillsong United’s, The I Heart Revolution, and from Sydney production company Karbon, The Disposable Ones featuring Australian footballer Jason Stevens.
The festival will also see the premier of the movie Lord Save Us From Your Followers - an alternately humorous and provocative documentary film about Christianity in the West.
Our vision is to distribute films that move people and inspire life. We are excited to bring you the Faith on Film festival.
