Synopsis

Set in the peak of the US 1960s Civil Rights movement, Paul's Promise is the inspiring true story of one man’s journey to hope and healing during a troubled time in history, that resulted in one of the first integrated churches in the American South. Paul Holderfield's story from a racist, alcoholic firefighter to a pastor who stands against injustice continues to make a huge impact on the community for the better to this day.
